Hekab Be Children’s Library in Akumal provides a vital space for local children aged 3–14 to enhance their education, spark creativity, and foster personal growth. What Happens at Hekab Be?
Open Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Saturdays for staff, the library hosts a variety of programs to encourage learning and creativity. Each day focuses on a different theme:
- Wednesday: Art and Yoga classes that nurture self-expression and mindfulness.
- Thursday: English language lessons, providing valuable skills for young learners.
- Daily Activities: Computer skills, storytelling, and games make learning fun and engaging.
Hekab Be welcomes children aged 3–14 who are eager to learn. Many parents volunteer to help support the programs, and visiting families are encouraged to participate, creating a meaningful way to connect with the local community.
